Nowadays, AI or Artificial Intelligence is rapidly gaining popularity. People use AI to get answers to questions, generate text, create images, and perform many other tasks.
But have you ever wondered how AI learns to do all these things?
Human assistance is used to teach AI these tasks. Humans review AI’s responses, identify errors, and train it to provide better answers. This process is generally known as AI training.
The good news is that some of these tasks can also be performed online.
What is AI training?
The meaning of AI training is quite simple: it involves teaching AI to perform better. For instance, if an AI answers a question, a human can review that answer and determine whether it is correct or incorrect.
At times, you might be presented with two answers and asked to decide which one is better. Tasks may also include providing information about images, checking text, or transcribing audio.
In essence, your role is to help the AI understand the difference between a good answer and a bad one.
How did this work begin?
As AI began to advance rapidly, vast amounts of information were required to improve it. It was not easy for computers alone to comprehend everything; therefore, companies began enlisting human assistance.
People review AI-generated answers, correct information, and complete various tasks. This information helps to further improve the AI. This is why there are now numerous online jobs available in AI training and related fields.
